Rick Raymond, President
Innoplast President Rick Raymond has worked in the rubber and
plastics industry for more than 30 years, starting on the
factory floor of the family-owned rubber and plastics business.
Building on his entrepreneurial background, Rick has become an
industry leader and visionary, developing and introducing new
products to meet the needs of industrial and commercial
customers in small, mid-size and Fortune
500 companies.
Before launching Innoplast in 2005, Rick formed Thermoprene,
Inc. in 1997, offering extruded products to a wide variety of
industries. Previously, he worked as Production Manager and then
Sales Manager for Construction Polymers Company, a business
offering custom sealing and vibration mitigation solutions to
the heavy construction industry. He also oversaw teams
installing mechanical rubber goods in the transit track
construction and tunneling industry.
Rick continues to direct Innoplast’s growth through a full range
of products designed to protect vehicles and facilities,
including convenience stores, carwashes, restaurants, banks,
medical centers, refineries, airports, parking garages and more.
Rick lives with his family in northeast Ohio and has many
interests, such as sailing, travel and
community service.
Craig McConnell, Vice President
A seasoned industrial and commercial products executive, Craig
McConnell is a founder and an owner of Innoplast, which started
in 2005.
For more than 20 years, Craig has managed and owned businesses,
including Thermoprene, which Craig joined in 2001 as partner
with Rick Raymond, Innoplast co-founder and president.
Craig is involved in product development, sales and operations
management for Innoplast, which specializes in innovative
products for vehicle and facility protection. Products are used
in many applications and at various locations, including
convenience stores, carwashes, fire stations, store fronts,
banks, medical centers, homeowner associations, warehouses,
airports, loading docks, parking garages, and self storage
facilities.
Craig’s background in polymers and other products includes
extensive sales and operations experience, such as custom
packaging design (high performance films for bundling,
unitizing, palletizing, bagging), screw machining, impact
extrusion, and film extrusion.
As Vice President of Thermoprene, Craig has been instrumental in
the continuous growth of the company, a custom manufacturer and
supplier of plastic extrusions, rubber extrusions and aluminum
extrusions.
His interests include coaching hockey, boating, music,
recreational sports and community organizations (Craig is a past
President of the Chagrin Valley Jaycees). Craig and his family
live in northeast Ohio.
